I read about the Anzac parade in Auckland. This year we had 270 people come to the parade. We remember all the soldiers that died in war to protect our country.

on a British Airways plane there was a little mouse witch stopped a plane from flying they could not get off the plane so the had to arrange another plane to fly to the USA with the passengers. Heathrow airport in the UK is one of the busiest airports in the world
I read about a girl called Darby who got her head stuck in a Barny suit for a prank to her friends in the USA. She went to a fire station and they tried to get the Barny suit off but it did not work so they cut it off:(
NASA releases giant balloon from Wanaka It was launched at 10 am on a clear day in Wanaka. According to this flight tracker website the balloon is currently at an altitude of 108,800 feet and is moving to Christchurch.
A cheetah sanctuary in the US has seen a boom in the wild cats’ population with the birth of 10 new cubs.
The population increase is a big boost for scientists who are working to save the animal from extinction.
In the wild, cheetah numbers are quickly dwindling which has led to scientists at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute in the United States to act.
Scientists put the decreasing numbers down to human intrusion into cheetah’s natural habitat.

Sergio Garcia wins U.S. Masters

Spanish golfer Sergio Garcia has beaten England’s Justin Rose in a playoff to win the U.S. Masters.
Garcia was playing his 73rd major and has finished runner up four times, and completed the victory with a 12 foot birdie putt.
Garcia says when he was younger he always thought he’d win at Augusta.
He becomes the third Spaniard to wear the Green Jacket, joining Jose Maria Olazabal, who also triumphed twice at Augusta, in 1994 and 1999.
Sergio Garcia was presented with his Green Jacket at the end of the winning the tournament.
